As Botswana’s aviation safety regulator, CAAB lays the foundation for a safe aviation environment by putting in place a robust and progressive safety regulatory framework based on ICAO standards and international best practices. Aviation professionals and training organisations intending to work or operate in Botswana are required to obtain the necessary licence and/or approval issued by CAAB. This is to ensure they meet our regulatory requirements, and are able to operate safely within Botswana’s aviation system.
