Gaborone, 23^rd September 2021: The Minister of Transport and Communications Honourable Thulagano Segokgo today embarked on a familiarization tour of Sir Seretse Khama International Airport (SSKIA).
The guided tour afforded the Minister an opportunity to appreciate and get firsthand information about the state of the airport. The tour was led by CAAB Chief Executive Officer, Dr Bao Mosinyi.
The tour covered different areas of the Airport which includes the Terminal building, Technical Block, Fire Rescue Services, Transmitter Station and Runway, just to mention a few.
Prior to the tour, Dr Mosinyi held a short meeting to brief the Minister, his Permanent Secretary Rule Jimmy Opelo and Deputy Isaac Moepeng. The purpose of the meeting was to update the Minister and the MTC Executive about the status of the Authority.
