Gaborone 14 March 2022: Today, a 4-member team of Technical Experts of the Regional Office Safety Team (ROST) from the Eastern and Southern African Region of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ESAF – ICAO) began a 5-day Technical Assistance Mission to Botswana ahead of the planned ICAO Coordinated Validation Mission. ICVM in June 2022.

The ROST Team led by Milton Tumusiime briefed CAAB Executive and the Technical team led by Bao Mosinyi on the objective of the ROST Mission which will be anchored on Transparency and Openness. The ROST paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Transport & Communication Hon Thulagano Segokgo at the Ministry Head Office who also emphasized the need for openness during the next five day of the mission.
