Gaborone, 31 March – In pursuance of its social responsibility programme, the Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana, (CAAB) yesterday donated toiletries to Camphill Community Trust in Otse Village, south of Gaborone. The beneficiaries are children with special needs.
When handing over the toiletries on behalf of CAAB, Sir Seretse Khama International Airport Manager, Larona Mokete said the gesture was a demonstration of CAAB’s commitment to improving the lives of those in need as a corporate member of the community. He applauded Camphill Community Trust for its continued support of children with special needs in a dignified manner.
Receiving the donation, Camphill Community Trust Professional Advocacy and Development Officer, David Moatshe expressed gratitude for the compassionate gesture extended by CAAB saying the donated gifts will be of tremendous assistance to the Camphill community.
Camphill Community Trust is a non-governmental residential school for children with special needs and learning difficulties. Additionally, the Trust develops training, employment, and community support programs for adults with disabilities.
