Personnel Licensing Inspectorate

• It is established to carry out the functions and the administrative process leading to the issuance of a
  licence, rating or other certificates to those personnel who are required to be in possession of such
  documents by law in order to carry out their respective job functions.
• Ensuring that Botswana flight crew standards also meet the standards set by the International Civil
  Aviation Organisation.

2. The application of medical fitness assessment relating to licence requirements
3. The issuance of licences and ratings
4.  Validation of foreign licences
5. Conducting knowledge examinations
