Ghanzi Airport (FBGZ)

Ghanzi Airport is located about 600km west of Gaborone, in the Ghanzi District.

In terms of passenger and aircraft movements, the current Ghanzi Airport can be classified as a marginal airport. However, despite negligible traffic demand, the airport has been declared port of entry. The airport will be relocated and upgraded subject to availability of funds

The airport has a bitumen sealed 1500 metres long and 18 metres wide runway (designation: 06/24) and is designed to handle light aircraft with Maximum All Up Weight (MAUW) of 5700 kg.
